1. Help the patient in a wheelchair
(1) Push the wheelchair to the side of the bed, with the back of the chair flush with the foot of the bed, facing the head of the bed.
(2) Help the patient sit up, put on his coat, put on shoes, and go to the ground.
(4) Turn the footboard over for the patient to step on.
(5) Pay attention to safety and maintain a comfortable sitting position when pushing the wheelchair. When the cart goes downhill, slow down, tilt the front wheel when crossing the threshold, tilt the patient’s head and back, and ask to grab the handrail to prevent accidents.
(6) Pay attention to observe the condition.
2. Help the patient get off the wheelchair
Push the wheelchair to the side of the bed, fix the wheelchair, turn up the footboard, and help the patient get off the wheelchair.
